If you're a fan of golf, then you're probably familiar with Scottie Scheffler. He's one of the upcoming stars in the sport and has already made a name for himself on the PGA Tour. But what you may not know is that Scottie also has a talent for cooking.
A Masters Dinner to Remember
This year, Scottie was invited to serve up a special dinner menu for the other players participating in the Masters tournament. And let's just say that he didn't disappoint.
Scottie's menu was inspired by his Texas roots and included some of his family's favorite recipes. For the entree, he opted for chicken fried steak with cream gravy. And for dessert, he served up a delicious homemade pecan pie.
Praise From the Pros
The other players couldn't stop raving about Scottie's cooking skills. Bubba Watson, a two-time Masters champion, said that the meal was "phenomenal" and that it was a nice change from the typical tournament food.
Justin Thomas, another top player on the tour, tweeted about how delicious the dinner was and even gave a shoutout to Scottie's grandma, who apparently helped inspire the pecan pie recipe.
A Future in the Culinary World?
So, will we see Scottie Scheffler opening up his own restaurant someday? It's hard to say, but he definitely has some talent in the kitchen. And who knows? Maybe he'll even get some inspiration for his next golf shot from cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
